There will be a minor service disruption of OpenAthens on Friday, August 15, from 7am - 7:15am. A restart of OpenAthens is needed to renew the annual security certificate. The restart will impact those attempting to sign in to Alma/Primo or other online resources that use OpenAthens. However, it will not affect those who are already in the process of using electronic resources. If you have any questions, please contact Ramon Barcia (email: ramon.barcia@ucr.edu ).

Located in: Tomás Rivera Library

UCR offers one of the world’s leading graduate programs in Iberian and Latin American music.

We have gathered an extensive collection of scores, recordings, books and periodicals on the musicology and ethnomusicology of these regions. We recently acquired all the currently available scores by and books about Joaquín Rodrigo, and hold an extensive collection of scores and recordings by other Iberian and Latin American composers, including Carlos Chavez, Enrique Granados, Isaac Albéniz, José Antonio de Donostia, Manuel Ponce, Tomás Luis de Victoria, Silvestre Revueltas, and Astor Piazzolla.

The collection also includes the multi-volume monumental works Portugaliae musica and Monumentos de la música española.
