The University of California libraries collaborate to maximize our collective strength through systemwide investment in electronic resources—including journals, databases, streaming media, and other research and teaching tools. With consortium-based purchasing, we are able to extend campus budgets and broaden access to scholarly content.

Due to systemwide budget constraints, the UC libraries are jointly evaluating and, in some cases, reducing resources currently licensed under these consortial agreements. The UCR Library has carefully reviewed the list of resources under consideration and determined that the impact on UCR users should be minimal.

We are actively exploring options to mitigate any loss of access, including targeted local subscriptions and alternative access mechanisms.
