We hold extensive collections on the Greater China region, Japan, and Korea, focusing on classic and modern literature and history.

Gems of the Chinese-language collection include the 1,501-volume set, Si Ku Quan Shu (Complete Collection of Four Literary Branches, available in very few libraries even in China), the 150-volume Er Shi Wu Shi (Histories of Twenty Five Dynasties) and the 150-volume Si Bu Cong Kang (Collectanea of Four Literary Branches), from the collection of Professor Paul Chou.

The Library also hosts Chinese and Japanese online resources,and has more than 600 Chinese films.
