The UCR Library is proud to present R’Voices in the Library, a rotating exhibition dedicated to celebrating the unique experiences and creative talents of our first-generation college students.
Coordinate by Student Success and Engagement Librarian Carrie Cruce, this showcase provides a platform for first-gen Highlanders to share their journeys, challenges, and triumphs through both visual art and personal narrative. By bringing these voices to the forefront, we aim to foster a sense of belonging and honor the diverse perspectives that enrich our campus community.
This exhibition highlights a diverse array of creative expressions and storytelling formats, including:
- Original Drawings & Paintings
- Photography
- Poetry
- Short Personal Stories
- Meaningful Multimedia Imagery
