UCR Library Open House

Check out the library — your passport to success! The UCR Library Open House introduces students to the resources, services, and spaces available at the Tomás Rivera Library & Raymond L. Orbach Science Library.

Pick up your event passport and library map at the front of either library, then collect stamps at each station to learn about a library service, resource, or space from UCR Library staff members.

Each library hosts its own 10-station tour that takes about an hour to complete. You can finish the 10-stamp tour at Rivera, Orbach, or tackle both! Seven stations are offered at both locations, but each library has three unique stations to explore.

The event takes about an hour and students can choose which day they participate and which library they want to explore, so it's easy to fit into a student's day. Students who complete the event receive an emailed certificate documenting their participation, which they can submit as proof.

  • Recognize the resources, services, and spaces available across both libraries.
