Maker Services Coordinator

We are delighted to announce that Ray Gonzalez joined the UCR Library on Thursday, August 15 as our Maker Services Coordinator.

Ray’s office will be located in room 123 on the first floor of Orbach Library, reporting to Brianna Marshall, the Director of Research Services.

Ray earned his B.S. in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of La Verne, and expects to finish his MBA by the end of 2019, also at the University of La Verne.

Most recently, Ray served as the Makerspace Student Supervisor and Software Specialist for the University of La Verne’s Wilson Library. Prior to working in libraries, Ray has experience working in the software industry for ECS Imaging, Inc., based in Riverside. Ray brings experience in a variety of makerspace technologies including robotics, electronics, and 3D modeling and printing.
