Join the UCR Library for Open Access Week Events October 20 - October 24

The UCR Library is hosting a series of events for International Open Access Week from October 20-24, 2025. We are excited to share GradSuccess is a sponsor for this year's Open Access Week events! This week-long series of workshops, presentations, and discussions is designed to help the campus community learn about open access publishing, open data, open source projects and tools, and more!

All events are hybrid, meaning you can attend in-person at Orbach Library in Room 122 or virtually via Zoom (RSVP on Eventbrite to attend workshops or click on an individual workshop link below to RSVP). Thanks to GradSuccess, snacks and coffee will be available at various events.

We are also giving out an Open Access Week Passport, get 4 stamps on your passport by attending 4 workshops and receive digital and physical badges! Pick up a passport at our Tabling Session/Resource Station in Orbach Library from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. or at any workshop.

We're also raffling off prizes! If you attend a workshop, you'll receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win free poster prints and free 3D prints. Drawings will take place once per day at the end of each day. Additional prizes may also be available.
