UC Publication Management System (UCPMS)

The UCPMS is used by UC authors systemwide to make it easier to identify open access policy articles and deposit them to eScholarship. The system emails authors and the delegated helpers biweekly if it has found new publications to claim and deposit to their department Open Access Policy Deposits series and UC Riverside Previously Published Works. CDL have worked with UC Riverside to ensure that the faculty and researchers who are likely to be publishing are receiving notifications.

UCR Author ID Cleanup Project

To reduce information overload for UCR authors, the UCR Library has implemented the Author ID Cleanup Project. Library students manually verify UCR author IDs—such as ORCID and Scopus Author ID—enabling auto-claim for verified IDs and reducing unnecessary reminder emails. The project is expected to finish in spring 2026.
