Chad is the UCR Library's Head of Facilities, bringing more than two decades of experience in managing facilities projects, overseeing capital improvements, and negotiating contracts. His key responsibilities include creating and implementing plans to maintain library buildings in a safe, efficient, and attractive manner, ensuring compliance with health and safety codes, and serving as a liaison to campus-wide buildings personnel. Additionally, he manages shipping and receiving, custodial, telecommunications, vending, and equipment services. Prior to joining the UCR Library team in June 2026, Chad served as a project manager at UCR Facilities Services.
