The UCR Library has an extensive collection of Star Trek fiction titles, books about the making of the television show, video and motion picture materials, audio books and other audio recordings, as well as a number of Star Trek-related manuscript and ephemera collections, ranging from "Kirk/Spock" fan fiction collections to paraphernalia collections to collections containing Star Trek television scripts. Highlights in the manscript holdings include the Barbara Hambly Papers, the Donna Caplan Collection on Star Trek, the Randall Freeman Collection on Star Trek, and the Stephen Howard Collection on Star Trek. The UCR Library holdings also include Star Trek television scripts in the Film and Televsion Scripts Collection and the Jesús Salvador Treviño Science Fiction Collection.
